Video Processing
Representation of Video. Two-Dimensional Motion Estimation:
Optical Flow Methods, Block Based Methods, Pel Recursive Methods,
Bayesian Methods. Three-Dimensional Motion Estimation. Video
Filtering: Motion Compensated Filtering, Noise Filtering,
Restoration, Standard Conversion, Superresolution. Video Compression,
Video Coding Methods, Video Coding Standards. Digital Video Systems.
ELK5820 Sayısal Video İşleme
Sayısal videonun temsili. İki-boyutlu
hareket kestirimi: optik akış yöntemleri, blok tabanlı yöntemler,
pel-rekursif yöntemler, bayes yöntemleri. Üç-boyutlu hareket
kestirimi. Video süzgeçleme: hareket dengelemeli süzgeçleme, gürültü
süzgeçleme, onarma, standart dönüştürme, süper detay. Video
sıkıştırma, video kodlama yöntemleri, video kodlama standartları.
Sayısal video sistemleri.

Make-up Policy:
Only one make-up examination will be given to those who miss any of
the midterms or the final. The student who wishes to take the make-up
exam must provide a valid excuse after the missed exam.
NG Policy:
NG grade will be given to students who do not attend more
than 70% of the course lecture hours, miss the exams and fail.
